MEP Construction Manager - MEP Modular Services Facility

Job description / Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager to join our MEP Modular Services Division. This position will oversee total MEP Service Module site activities to ensure project is constructed in accordance with designs, budgets, scope, and schedule. The position will be reporting to Project Manager.

Job responsibilities include:
- Management of all construction activities of the project.
- Responsible for engineering, scheduling, costs, industrial relations, safety, environmental and quality aspects of the Project.
- Promote total job safety and environmental awareness by employee and subcontractors.
- Ensure all activities relating to quality are performed in compliance with the requirements of the relevant specifications, codes and standards, which form part of the contract.
- Control and motivate the workforce and manage the employee disciplinary process as necessary.

Requirements

- Should have experience managing the installation of Multi-service MEP Modules.
- Should be able to build professional and productive relationships with consultants, subcontractors and other stake holders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or other related engineering field desirable.
- Proven record in planning, organising and leading a diverse labour force.
- Sound negotiation and problem solving skills, clear communication verbal and written.
- Manages to timeframes, cost conscious, and achievement driven.
