MEP Construction Manager - Doha Port Project

An opportunity to work on a JV between an International main contractor and a large local main contractor whom are one of the leading contractors in Qatar.

The project is relating to a Naval Base Infrastructure and Utility Buildings contract. My client is one of the partners on this project and their contract scope covers 53 km of road pavement, 32 km storm drainage network, 78 km fibre optic telecommunication network, 19 km foul water collection network, 58 km potable and fire water distribution network and the design and construction of 14 Utility Buildings.

You will provide all on-site field construction management activities associated with the completion of assigned construction package(s). Monitors performance of the construction team to confirm compliance with contractual requirements.

Applies a comprehensive knowledge of various disciplines to be used during construction, as well as the methods and techniques to be utilized for installation; contractual obligations and technical aspects of all items to be constructed.

Requirements

MEP Construction Manager: Degree qualified with 20 years experience of road and port projects, focus to be more electrical than mechanical. Needs experience for HV networks but we do not want someone who is just an electrical person.
