MEP Construction Manager

Job description / Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated MEP Manager with proven track record on fast track projects within the Middle East. Experience with Hospital projects is highly desirable .This position will be reporting to MEP Project Manager.

Job responsibilities include:

1. Responsible for providing overall technical direction for onsite MEP construction activities.
2. Reviewing of plans, drawings and blueprints.
3. Consulting with engineers, designers and contractors to facilitate M.E.P installations.
4. Preparation and/or coordination of designs/drawings as necessary.
5. Supervise direct employees and/or subcontractors as required.
6. Co-ordinate electrical, mechanical and plumbing services and installations.
7. Manage all MEP related facilities and services.

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in “ Similar Mega Projects “as Construction Manager in which 4 years preferably in GCC.
2. Ability to successfully manage and supervise a project team of approximately “20” including Engineers and Supervisors.
3. Strong design management skills combined with solid all round project management including a working knowledge of the tender process, contract administration, client / stakeholder management and project delivery.
4. Should be able to building professional and productive relationships with consultants, subcontractors and other stake holders.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
6. Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical stream.
7. Proven record in planning, organizing and leading a diverse labor force.
8. Manages to time-frames, cost conscious, and achievement driven.
