The RoleThe RoleMEP Construction Manager - 25,000 – 35, 000 (Jordan) The Company My Client is a world ranked main contractor with offices across the Middle East. This is an opportunity to join them in the role of MEP Manager in their Jordan office and work on one of the region’s most prestigious Hotel and leisure projects. The Role The principle activities of this role are: Reporting to the operations manager, plan, coordinate, direct and supervise personnel, monitor subcontractors ensuring that that they complete the work on time and to the quality specified. Tracking the projects budgets and actual costs as well as maintaining projects schedule. Oversee and direct construction management, site survey and review of sites, being planned for development, and prepare work breakdown and structure for the projects Review of contract drawing and specifications and re-engineering To prepare shop drawings and materials submittals for related Services for approval. Preparation and submission of site clarification for technical issues, variations and discrepancies in the specification. Procurement of equipments and materials to site, coordination with suppliers for technical issues deliveries etc. Execution of site installations and monitoring of progress, coordination with consultant & sub contractors for site related issues. Management & supervision of junior technical staff. Previous MEP construction experience in Hotels, Villas and apartments A Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required and membership of a professional Engineering Institution would be beneficial.
