Job description / Role
Reviews coordination and selection of MEP systems for projects.
Offers technical input related to the cost and feasibility of various designs.
Develops breakdown budgets that outline the cost of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Reviews, produces and submits technical documents for the project's completion.
Supervises the work performed by the subcontractors.
Ensure adherence to the project's specifications and according to the time schedule.
Acts as a liaison between different parties working on the project.
Coordinate all MEP trade workers with the project's superintendent, subcontractors and project team, as well as manage communication between the subcontractors, field staff, project team and clients.
Takes off quantities from shop drawing and match it with site and BOQ
Perform Value engineering of the MEP works in hand and propose cost effective alternative solutions if requested.
Ability to produce weekly and monthly MEP progress reports.
Requirements
Needs to have a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Degree.
Needs to have working experience in Power projects.
Must be flexible to relocate Ruwais.
Must have experience in Substations.
Should have at least 2 years of working experience as an MEP Coordinator.
