MEP Engineer – Saudi Arabia

Project Overview:
Parsons is providing design and construction supervision and management services to community development infrastructure and housing across Saudi Arabia. We are seeking engineers, architects, inspectors, surveyors and construction management and administration personnel with community development construction supervision and management experience to join our growing team in Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
• MEP Engineers will need to have community development construction management experience.
• Selected engineers must have an on-site construction background associated with installing mechanical equipment and systems, preferably with multi-story housing units and/or utility infrastructure.
• The primary responsibility of the MEP Engineer is to review MEP system and equipment related construction documents and audit contractors and subcontractors’ deliverables for quality and adherence to specifications, budgets and schedules.
• The successful candidates will be tasked with tracking progress, notifying management of potential delays or nonconformance to specifications, recommending potential solutions to construction or specification discrepancies, and providing well written documentation of construction activities.
• Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Provides technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
• Reviews supplier drawings and samples, and performs technical bid analyses.
• Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering with min 8 years overall experience,5 years in Project Supervisory.
• Skills and proven ability to perform all MEP Engineer functions.
• Arabic speaking an advantage.
• Proficient keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software are required.
• Assignments will require a working knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry.
• Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
• Ability to meet eligibility for Saudi VISA requirements
• Willingness to relocate or previous experience working in Saudi
