The RoleThe RoleMy client is a leading provider of EPC and design and engineering services in the fields of MEP, fire fighting and HVAC systems. They have numerous offices throughout the UAE and is part of a larger group of construction companies throughout the Middle East and India. They provide services for blue-chip clients on multimillion AED projects including mixed use, towers and retail. Due to the win of several prestigious MEP projects within Abu Dhabi and Al Ain (the role will be based in Abu Dhabi); they now have sign off for an MEP Estimating Manager. Candidates considered will already be operating at a similar level working in the Middle East for an MEP Contractor or Subcontractor, with 10 – 15 years commercial experience. Your responsibilities will include: Receive assignments and the bid document; study the project scope of works, clients' requirement, BOQ, project milestones, and specification from the supplied bid documents. Prioritize enquiry items that require lead time and other large volumes items, which really affect the total value of the project. Prepare Estimation Schedule of the project and assign the files for action to nominate the bidders that will be invited to bid for each bid item. Basic salaries to AED52000 plus benefits including car / allowance, bonus and possibly fully expensed accommodation for the right individual. WRS are working closely with a number of clients in the UAE, Middle East and GCC providing Quantity Surveyors and Estimators at all levels. |
