The RoleThe Role1. Discuss the Project invitation / proposal with the Estimation Manager and make revisions as discussed during post tender clarification, alternate design and cost comparison stage, if required. 2. Take quantities; prepare pricing, budgeting and variation tender (in case of variation / additional jobs) to avoid losses in the new Project. 3. Coordinate with all departments to discuss the project requirements on behalf of the Estimation team. 4. Coordinate & discuss with engineering expertise to workout optimum solution for the technical issues and solve queries of quantity surveyors. 5. Check if the technical and commercial aspects of the project are according to tender specifications, customer queries and drawings and perform feasibility study to check capacity and resource availability. 6. Prepare the proposal contracts and furnish complete notes, conditions, assumptions and deviations as per the client requirements and instructions received from Consultant / Main Contractor. 7. Negotiate tender price (if required) with the Client / Main contractor and submit BOQ as per the tender price in order to follow BOQ pricing for the entire project in future 8. Make clear files of each project with number for future records / use. Submit complete documents (Drawings, quantities, budgets, revisions and tender) details to Project Manager after receiving the Project in order to enable him Plan and accomplish Project results. |
RequirementsRequirements• Mechanical / Electrical Engineer with minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in MEP. • Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of AutoCAD and Estimation software would be an added advantage. Skills: • Strong numerical and technical analyzing skills • Good knowledge of principles of measurement • Ability to prioritise |
