Employment: Full Time

The business is needing a general manager that can take control of potential business opportunities that will be embarked upon in Qatar.
Being responsible to new business .Also take full control of P&L handle forecasts and budgets.
Projects would be new build / refurbishment and if possible some level of civil projects.

•Responsible for the direction of the company’s subsidiary or factory or branch, including the following activities:
Production, engineering, quality, sales and marketing, finance and human resources.
•Ability to translate corporate strategy into business objectives
•Accountable for annual and long-term turnover, profitability and competitiveness
•Accountable of the business unit assets
•Provides leadership to maintain productive, cost-effective, safe and legal workplace

Accountability and Authorization
a) Business development plan and strategy
b) Budget/cost & turnover/profit/revenue
c) Staff acquisition, development & retention
d) Assets & capital equipment management
Cooperation and Communication
•Provides leadership and vision to the organization
•Provides annual plans & progress reports to senior management
•Analyses & prepares business plans and development proposals as needed
•Cooperates with sister companies and represents externally the company.

Leadership Responsibilities
Leads and facilitates contract negotiations. Advocate of market intelligence to enhance decision making horizontally and vertically. An agent and a promoter of change.

The following functions are reporting to this position:
•Operations/Production/Projects Manager
•Sales Manager
•QC/QA Manager
•Commercial/Administration Manager

Requirements

Required Education, Work Experience and Technical Knowledge and Skills:

•Bachelor University degree in Industrial Engineering / Construction or any related field.
•Master University degree preferably in Business Administration Management or equivalent (I.e., Economics, Marketing, etc…)
•Minimum of 10 years technical & business management experience
•Strong negotiator and successful change manager, with excellent persuasive and communication skills
