Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objective: To inspect & monitor the construction works for the Qatar Sewage Collection Plant & Drainage Pumps and ensure that works ongoing are strictly adhering to technical & client specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

• To read and understand the Specifications, Method Statements and design information and ensure the same is adhered to by the Contractor.
• To ensure the standards of Safety and Quality are not compromised.
• To carry out surveillance of the prioritised activities and maintain records.
• Ensuring the Contractor delivers the Contract in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements.
• Processing of submittals in a timely, fair and accurate manner.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records.
• Manage their own time and prioritise effectively.
• Read and understand project Specifications, Standards and Drawings.
• Relate Specifications and drawings to Method Statements and Site In-spections and actual site activities.
• Carry out formal site inspections.
• Monitor works against the ITP
• Report accurately on events and findings from site visits and inspec-tions.
• Record events on site, progress and change.
• Observe and ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times.
• Know and follow Company procedures.
• Monitor and record progress and site issues.
• Understand the programme

Gross monthly base salary : TBD

Requirements

8-15 Years Inspection Experience
3-5 Years Drainage Pumps Experience ESSENTIAL
3-5 Years Experience with Engineering Consultant
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

The suitable candidate will have working knowledge on the design & supervision of sewage treatment plants especially with the supervision of drainage pumps.
