MEP Interface Engineer - Doha Metro

Our client is a leading international project management consultancy and is looking to hire a MEP Interface Engineer for Doha metro project in Qatar. This is a long term opportunity because our client has a long term contract with the Doha Metro. Candidate must have interfacing experience within a consultancy or PMC.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure coordination of interfaces among the MEP contractors associated with Doha Metro civil works contracts and the soon-to-be-awarded Systems Manufacture, Supply & Install Contract.
- Be responsible for the electrical, mechanical and civil interfaces in metro passenger stations, depots, tunnels, viaducts.
- Ensure compliance of all interfacing parties with the Employer's Requirements
- Support the process for obtaining permits and approvals from the Authorities Having Jurisdiction.

Requirements

- Excellent written and verbal English skills (C1/C2).
- At least 10 years overall experience.
- At least 5 years of similar experience.
- Mandatory metro experience.
- B.Sc, BEng, BA or Equivalent holder.
- Must be less than 60 years old.
- Has consultant experience.
- Educational qualifications must be obtained from North America, W. Europe, Australia or equivalent.
- Has chartered status/ professional License preferred.
- Regional Experience preferred.
- Must have previous interfacing experience.
- Experience working in Qatar preferred.
