Job description / Role
One of my key clients is in need of a MEP M&E , MRICS Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator for the CRE Corporate Real Estate Cost Consultancy division in Houston USA. They have a significant commission with a major corporate (USA brand)in their Buildings and Real Estate Services (CBRES) for a series of new buildings covering commercial and R&D. The position is based in Houston as part of a 12 strong team already in post there to concentrate on M&E estimating an cost management.
The role will cover full range of consultancy/ PQS cost management pre and post contract services together with the USA twist of cost estimation also, coupled with expertise in the MEP services field.
The opportunity is a long term one, with a growing market in the US for my client. The package will be flexible based on experience.
Requirements
The right candidate will be BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying with a minimum of 10 years pre and post qualification experience. You may also have an added MEP qualification studied prior to your BSc in QS covering either Electrical or Mechanical Building Services only! This is not MEP Oil & Gas or heavy Industrial. Nor is it manufacturing. So only CRE Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Building Services CIBSE and BSc MRICS will be considered.
You will need to have very strong fit out/build experience either with a main contractor/specialist MEP or Fit out main or sub contractor (one which is used to delivering high end CRE.) or PQS cost Consultancy experience with a renowned practice ideally from the UK.
You will be western educated and probably MRICS or MCIOB or USA equivalent.
Candidates will ideally be based in the USA already although strong candidates with International experience will be considered based on their experience.
