Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Coordinate and supervise the work of all Infrastructure and utilities activities related to District Cooling, Gas networks, 66 kV substations and network, 11 kV substations and network, sewerage, storm drainage, potable water, TSE.
- Advise and monitor onsite engineers for Infrastructure engineering calculations, plans, designs, layouts, project specifications and project cost estimates as required.
- Achieve a detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), coordinate work with other disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical and advice project managers as necessary.
- Assist in the scope review, technical aspects and justification of MEP change work order and coordinate for MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals across all projects as required.
- Undertake feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design of infrastructure works and provide recommendation.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of utilities and oversee the review and approval process for all Infrastructure engineering activities submittals.
- Liaison with Consultants, Contractors, Management Team and with local authorities and ministerial agencies.
- Develop guidelines for value engineering and performing risk management for sites and structures to help onsite teams to deliver high quality Infrastructure solutions ensuring regulatory and HSE compliance with standards.

Requirements

- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 to 12 years of related work experience with at least 4 years in comparable position.
- Knowledge and experience in design of large scale MEP Systems and infrastructure.
- GCC experience on large interdisciplinary projects is a must
- Experience in all kind of high valued projects like pump station projects, waste water projects, etc.
- Experience in the construction of large industrial or infrastructural projects is highly preferred.
