MEP Manager

Job description / Role

• Review the Mechanical drawings reports and specifications submitted by the Design Consultant(s) at each stage of the Design to ensure completeness, correctness, compliance with the scope of work and agreement requirements.

• Carry out constructability review during the Design stages.

• Review in a timely manner the Design Consultant(s) submittals and forward comments to the Project Manager.

• Manage and co-ordinate the discharge of MEP Contractors obligations and all external influences likely to affect Project delivery on a daily basis.

• Manage and co-ordinate the discharge of MEP consultant’s duties.

• Manage and co-ordinate the discharge by the Supervision Consultant of its duties with regard to site inspection, mock-ups, sample approvals and the like of all related MEP issues.

• Manage liaison by the project team with relevant statutory authorities and utility providers.

• Verify the preparation of the consultant Defects/Punch Lists and monitor and confirm that these are undertaken by the Contractors in a timely manner.

Requirements

The right candidate must also have the ability to communicate well at all levels within the Project and be result oriented. In addition you’ll need to possess strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills and the ability to achieve results through team working.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 15 years work experience is required.

• Degree qualified is preferred.

• Experience in high rise towers and five star hotels is preferred.
