MEP Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

International MEP Contractor who have an established and reputed operation here in the UAE for around 10 years are looking for a MEP Planning Engineer. They have a wide range of projects Retail, Hospitality, Highrise, Hospitals, Commercial and Industrial buildings

This MEP Planning Engineer will be managing the Contractual program preparation & evaluation.
- Providing detailed construction programming, prepare Planning Method Statement/Narrative reporting.
- Prepare Shop Drawing, Material Submittal & Procurement and Approval schedules,
- Prepare Resource and Equipment Histogram, Subcontractor Appointment schedule and Cash Flow Preparation.
- Prepare Two/Four Weeks Look Ahead Schedules, Project Productivity Report and Updated KPIs with regards to time and cost.
- Prepare Delay Notifications with proper substantiations and Performance chart of the project.
- Detailed break up of programs in order to suite the requirements of Project Managers using Bar Chart, PERT and CPM Methods.
- Detailed programming and liaising of project activities related to authorities.
- Detailed reporting of projects progress, forensic analysis, what-if analysis, cash flow analysis.
- Detailed schedule analysis and reporting of delayed events, extension of time claims, and disputes.
- Hand in hand efforts with Project Manager during the project crisis stages for recovery.
- Detailed recovery programming and resourcing.
- Submission of Weekly & Monthly Progress Report to Client.
- Claim Extension of Time. Complete documentation and entitlement programs.

Requirements

This individual will have 7 years experience post graduation of a Degree of Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, within the MEP Construction industry, with ideally the last 3 years here in UAE working on large-scale build projects.

Experience working for a reputed construction firm, in the above role, with a committed work history and a proactive, team orientated attitude.
