Planning Manager Expert in delay analysis Major project Qatar

Location: Doha, Qatar
QAR 35,000 40,000 per month + Annual return flights & Medical

Working with a leading multinational contractor, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Planning Manager for planning, scheduling, monitoring of Production and execution of Projects by ensuring quality, legal aspects, cost effectiveness and timely completion of a major flagship development in Doha, Qatar.

- To assist in the production of baseline schedule analysis and calculation of delay effects for analysis by the Forensic Planners.
- Merging weekly excel progress updates to a master schedule for use by Forensic Planners.
- Float mapping (to allow analysis of float utilization over the course of the project).
- Producing resource profiles (for planned v actual analysis).
- Comparing progress updates between monthly progress reports and the updated program.
- Provide planning progress update on a monthly basis of Contractors/Consultants claim reviews, negotiations, meetings and the like.
- Prepare case files for all relevant planning correspondence and documents.

Requirements

- Degree qualified
- Minimum of 10yrs Experience
- Experience working within the GCC (preferable but not essential)
- Experience of delivering infrastructure planning

As a proven Planner, you will have a track record working on complex major construction projects. You will possess either a Degree and will have the drive and confidence to work in a professional site or office based team. You will need to be results driven and someone who is able to work at a fast pace in a team with energy and focus. You will also have previously worked as a Planning Manager on a similar value project or now be looking to progress onto large more prestigious work.
