Job description / Role
As MEP Procurement Manager your responsibilities will be:
Roles and Responsibilities
* Business Development and expansion of the existing MEP portfolio of the company.
* To oversee the department and the procurement of equipment, materials & systems complying to project Quality and Specification requirements.
* To ensure the procurement of materials is done in a timely manner and within approved budgeted cost.
* To ensure timely delivery of equipment, material & systems to support site installation works as per approved work program.
* To ensure all procurement processes conform to management approved procedures and policies with respect to time, cost, and quality.
* Develop and maintain good relations with suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements
* Bachelor in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar.
* 12+ years experience in MEP Procurement for a main contracting or MEP company.
* 5+ years UAE or GCC experience essential.
* Proven success in previous work experience on Business Development within the Middle East MEP sector.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Good Communication and Negotiation skills.
