Job description / Role
Project Managers - MEP UAE& Qatar
Our client is a leading MEP Main/Sub contractor based in the UAE. They have projects in throughout the UAE, Qatar and KSA. They have a requirement for a number of MEP project managers for UAE and Qatar
The ideal candidate will be have experience working on large scale MEP contractors/Sub contractors both in the Gulf and in UK /Ireland. You will have a proven track record of delivering projects.
The PM will act as the Company's representative for the Project, and will ensure that the Project is managed in a professional manor.
Will have overall responsibility for:
Site safety of our site activities.
Setting the internal budget for the Project and monitoring it on a monthly basis, for presentation to Management.
Identifying any potential risks to our Project scope.
Agreeing the Project time schedule and the monitoring and updating of it as required.
Ensure material and shop drawing submittals are issued in accordance with the time schedule and Conditions of Contract.
Issuing of material requests to Head Office, and monitor the ordering process.
Comply with the Conditions of Contract for Variations and the Contractual obligations.
Write Contractual letters, as required.
Review resources mobilizing and demobilizing as required by the schedule.
Manage subcontractors and material suppliers, holding regular progress meetings, as required.
Chair internal meetings with site team, identifying issues and resolution of them.
Monitoring cash flow for the Project.
Attendance and preparation of Progress Reports for presentation at Client Progress Meetings
Liaise with the Client, Consultant, Local Authority or any other Project stakeholder.
Will be fully responsible for the whole Project cycle from Estimation handover, through to Final Acceptance and Final Account of the Project.
Monitor site quality standards, and ensure that the Project requirements are achieved.
