The RoleThe RoleKEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. This is an opportunity to join KEO in the role of MEP Site Manager as one of the senior site representatives for all matters related to construction quality assurance and document compliance of mechanical and electrical works. To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following: • Ability to oversee and implement MEP strategies and procedures, whilst ensuring that work is carried out in full compliance with safety and quality management systems. • Identifying and managing MEP associated risks and reporting these through to senior management and associated contractors accordingly. This would include regular feedback on performance issues and adherence to contractual requirements. • Previous MEP leadership experience within large construction projects in a career with increasing levels of seniority over at least 15 yrs. • Ability to liaise professionally with contractors, as well as local authorities and ministerial agencies, when required. • Reviewing contractors’ claims related to mechanical and electrical works and preparing appropriate recommendations accordingly. • Providing guidance and direction to staff to ensure consistency and maintenance of performance standards. |
RequirementsRequirementsQualification: A Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Membership of a professional Engineering Institution would be beneficial.
