The RoleThe RoleAutomotive Finance Shared Services is a department under Automotive handling the back office functions related to accounting for Automotive. AFSS handles Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger Accounting, Reconciliations, Sales Accounting and annual closing and audits for the Automotive Division of Al-Futtaim.We are currently looking to recruit experienced MIS Supervisor to be based in our Dubai office.The incumbent will be a part of the team that supports the management information requirements of the division.Specific tasks to be carried out include: * Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts * Preparation of Feasibility Studies for new projects* Analysis of the financial impact of emerging trends on business and alert business unit(s) to any potential opportunities and risks.* Preparation of variance statements, analysis and alerts for key Expenditure, Income and Balance Sheet heads.* Preparation of Information Pack for Monthly Board Meetings * Preparation of Annual Budgets and Rolling Forecasts * Working with the Business and IT teams to ensure system configuration in line with business requirements.* Ensuring on-time payment to Foreign suppliers and provide analysis of import volumes and trends* Preparation of Reports and Ad-hoc studies as required |
RequirementsRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will have the following experience:* An Accounting Qualification * Strong computer skills - ERP knowledge, preferably SAP. Advanced MS-Excel knowledge * At least 5 years relevant experience within a large organisation in supervisory level * Excellent English communication skills, but written and verbal * Ability to work well in a team |
