Job description / Role

Proven experience with a JavaEE application server (e.g. WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss).
Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and entity-relationship modeling. Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server. Understanding of database transaction isolation levels.
Ability to write simple stored procedures in PL/SQL or T-SQL is a plus.
Experience with the UNIX/Linux command line, Bash shell scripting, and regular expressions.
Sed and Awk knowledge is a plus.
Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2008 administration.
Knowledge of XML and Web Services technologies.
Knowledge of EAI middleware (preferably TIBCO BusinessWorks) and/or Message Oriented Middleware (e.g. IBM MQ Series, JMS) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of a modern object-oriented language, preferably Java.
Low-level understanding of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols is a plus.
Familiarity with hashing, public key encryption, and digital signatures is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Quality-focused and detail-oriented.
Ability to prioritize tasks and perform in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English
