Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives:
Performs imaging procedures utilizing magnetic resonance scanners

Main responsibilities:
- Reviews exam order/requisitions, reviews corresponding protocol and, if needed, asks questions of superior(s) and prepares for exams
- Adjusts and operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to scan designated anatomical areas. Sets computer controls and laser camera to produce proper images
- Assists in injection of contrast media
- Records all required information. Labels films in sequence. Notes all pertinent data required by Radiologists for medical diagnosis

Duration: 1-2 year/s contract

Probation: 90 days
Working Hours: 9 hours

Requirements

- University Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Radiological Sciences/Radiologic Technology for Saudis, or equivalent diploma in radiological sciences, (MRI Specialty)
- Other certifications obtained: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent for non-Saudis and eligibility for registration with the Saudi Council of Health Specialist
- Nature and length of previous experience: Two (2) years of hospital readiology experience required, of wich one (1) year of MRI scanning experience is recommended
