The RoleThe RoleWork as part of a customer focused team within the Dubai Campus MRO carrying out investigations associated with Electronic controls removed from Aircraft with potential faults Interface with Technical Services Engineering, MRO technicians, RR FSO, and Airline operators to establish data required to correlated investigation results with reasons for removal. Complete symptom to cause reconciliation expected. Train MRO diagnostic technicians to identify root cause of unit returns using advanced tools and techniques as described above. Support the resident Field Support Manager with investigations and operational queries with EEC and system issues. Prepare engineering investigation reports for all in-service products as required Support Rig upgrades and diagnostic improvements as required to increase the capability of the MRO. |
RequirementsRequirementsRelevant Engineering Degree or equivalent technical experience; Multi-discipline engineering background, with knowledge of aircraft control electronics / systems The ideal candidate will have: Analytical skills using computer systems and IT tools. An ability interpret the requirements of the Component Maintenance Manual Ability to define the functionality of analogue and digital circuits represented in circuit diagram format and interpret the expected signal characteristics at test points within the circuitry Ability to interpret unit test results and correlate the results with the reason for unit return data provided by the airline operator maintenance crew Ability to trace signal paths through complex circuitry across different modules within a unit and eliminate functional faults by reasoned and rational module substitution Ability to diagnose fault code stores and interpret potential circuit faults. Ability to use the Case based Fault code store extraction and correlation tool. Good interpersonal and communication skills; High level of motivation and commitment to achieving objectives within tight timescales and under pressure |
