The Role


The Role

Core Purpose of Job:

• To manage a Production Plan based on sales requirements in line with processing machines capacities, materials and manpower availability and other resources.
• Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs capacity analysis to determine manufacturing processes, tools and human resource requirements.
• To interface with the Manufacturing operations, Sales Support Team, Inbound Supply Chain and Outbound Logistics and other departments to determine the most efficient Production Plan.
• To ensure that the product is delivered on time every time-100% service level.

Areas of Responsibility (AOR)
1. Manage production planning at PPP manufacturing facility while considering efficiency and minimising cost.
2. Ensure standard operating procedures outlined by Almarai Company Quality policy are followed.
3. To ensure both efficient running of the factory combined with very high customer service levels.
4. Support new product developments.
5. To develop and enhance skills & knowledge within the Production Planning team to deliver an efficient and effective planning.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Essential:
1. Poultry processing experience in a supervisory or managerial role in production or planning.
2. Bachelors Degree in a suitable field
3. Highly numerate data rational, with strong analytical skills.
4. Excellent English written & verbal comm. skills

Desirable
1. Excellent analytical skills and flexibility to changing work schedules required
2. Strong attention to detail is required

Experience:

Essential responsibilities executed (Generic Description)
1. At least 5 years experience in Production Planning environment with at least 3 years experience in SAP R/3 or any comparable ERP system (Oracle, Baan, MCBA etc..)
2. Has worked in an FMCG environment
Desirable responsibilities (Generic Description)
1. At least 3 years experiences in a SAP R/3 environment preferably Poultry Plant.
2. Previous managerial level experience in planning.

Competencies (Technical, Operational, Managerial):
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:-

1. High degree of self organizational skills, with attention to detail.
2. Ability to “ multi-task” and operate in an intensive FMCG environment
3. Excellent working knowledge of Window office.
4. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
5. Solid ERP experience related to demand , supply and production planning and scheduling
6. Ability of establish short and long term goals to meet customer needs.
