Job description / Role
An exciting role for a MV Sales Engineer for a Global provider of MV Switchgears and Power Systems products is required, be part of organisation looking to grow their Dubai office, increasing on market share and entering new markets.
Role:
Should have worked with MV switchgear manufacturers
In depth knowledge on Air Insulated Switchgear- Indoor/outdoor circuit breakers, ring main units etc
Knowledge of reading single line diagrams (SLDs)
Knowledge of Middle East Markets, Customers and Market requirements
Understand & Interpret the technical specification of the customer & associated drawings Power Systems products
Preparation of techno-commercial offer in liaision with the plant/back office
Liaise with end customers/consultants/contractors on regular basis to promote brand and order input
Technical clarifications/discussions with customer, organise plant visits if required
Commercial negotiations & order finalisation
Understand the customers pre-qualification process, submit all relevant documents and pursue pre-qualifaction
Liaisoning with plant
Requirements
Qualification:
Proven sales background in the MV Power Products market
Degree or equivalent educated in Electrical Engineering
Personable, good communicator, good time keeper, calm in pressurized situations
Pushes the boundaries and always looks for improvement in himself/herself as well as playing an active role in moving the companys business forward
Presentable, good communicator.
Demonstrable ability to lead a team.
Professional control of high pressure situation as required.
Encourages teamwork ethos within the business.
Should have ability to think strategically and form long term business plan.
Should have ability to think conceptually, thematic and evolve a master business plan to establish Automation business in ME
