Job description / Role
Our client, a leading manufacturer and distributor of FMCG products, is looking to recruit a Main Warehouse Manager to oversee the inbound/outbound operations for their facility in Jeddah.
As a Main Warehouse Manager in Jeddah, you will be responsible for improved efficiency of the receipt, storage, VAS, and dispatch of FMCG and healthcare products. While reporting to the Warehousing, Customer Service, and Distribution Manager (National), additional duties will include:
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and transport providers
• Planning and coordinating all inbound, storage, and outbound activities of the main warehouse as per company policies.
• Inventory management, cycle counts, regular reporting, and maintaining health/safety
• Improve efficiency of warehousing operations
• Motivating, organizing, and training the team
• Ensure targets/KPIs are met and capacity is fully utilized.
Based on candidate performance and availability of opportunities, this role provides career progression.
Requirements
The successful candidate for this Main Warehouse Manager role, must have:
• A Bachelors degree in supply chain or business
• 5 - 10 years warehousing and logistics experience, preferably in an FMCG/Pharma environment
• Excellent leadership, team building, and communication skills
• Arabic speaking candidates are preferred
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Preferably transferrable Iqama
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to grow within the organization
