Maintenance Contract Manager (Fire systems) – Qatar – Service Provider

Our client’s HQ is in Western Europe and they are a specialist M&E Maintenance Contractor. They have a global presence and a large portfolio of blue chip clientele. Currently they are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician/Supervisor to join their Middle East, Qatar Facilities Management operation. Candidates should have some supervisory or management experience, have a strong technical background and have ideally served an apprenticeship with a recognised Fire Systems specialist. In addition they should have experience performing maintenance duties on fire systems such as those present on sites such as Commercial offices, Universities, Hospitals, Industrial, Oil and Gas and Manufacturing/Production. Other duties will include the preparation of Planned Maintenance programmes for contracts and also to assist in the mobilisation of sites, producing accurate reports and demonstrate a high level of customer service to new and existing clients with a view to expanding accounts and generating new business in the region.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working for a Fire Systems specialist
• Experience in performing planned and reactive maintenance to fire systems
• Some supervisory or management experience
• Have a recognised technical qualification (ideally electrical)
• Ideally have served an apprenticeship of 2-4 years
• IT literate
• Be happy to manage a multi-cultural workforce
• Excellent written and spoken English
