Job description / Role
Tasks:
1. Support Operations & Commissioning Team.
2. Reviews of project: : P&ID, Piping isometric, Plant Layout, Vendor Documentation, P&ID, Piping isometric, Plant Layout, Constructability, 3-D model, Schedule, SIL, and action upon alarm, Hazard Study, Site Acceptance Test s (SATs). Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
Functions:
Agree Safe Systems of Work with all interested parties.
Interpret relative project documentation, sketches and diagrams
Perform a variety of fabricating and design duties related to Oil/ Gas production facility including commissioning, construction, maintenance and repair.
Maintain both manual and automated logs, records, reports and charts. Communicate clearly and
Concisely, both orally and in writing.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of multi discipline equipment (Mechanical/Piping, Electrical, Instrument, Fabrication).
Adhere and have input into the Company Permit to Work System for Multi Discipline Maintenance
activities
Input into the compilation the Maintenance Schedule (Mechanical/Piping, Electrical, Instrument,
Fabrication).
Input into the compilation the Maintenance Estimate
Input into the compilation the Vendor Schedule
Input into the compilation the Maintenance Spares List
Input into the compilation the Operations 2 Year Spares List
Start Maintenance Log
Set-up site base and compile Maintenance Consumables and Lubrications list
Set-up site base and compile Maintenance Tools and Special Tools list
Attend and /or manage pre-start-up safety checks
Witness relevant Multi Discipline Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of the systems with
Vendors
Assist with Walk Down and Punch Listing of Commissioned System/Sub Systems for Operations
Handover and Acceptance
Input into post-start-up modifications for Multi Discipline Maintenance Requirements
Move team to shift management role if required.
Issue first draft of the Standard Preventative Maintenance Routines (PMRs)
Update Maintenance documents and Standard Maintenance Routines (PMRs)
Assist to Run and Maintain plant to pre-determined design production rates and initial output for
the required duration
Assist Operations with the verification of Multi Discipline testing criteria during Commissioning
Compilation and Verification of Multi Discipline Punch List.
Requirements
Education:
National Diploma or Degree
Relevant Professional Experience:
10 years industry experience in Maintenance Engineering
Professional knowledge, skills and capabilities:
Experience in Operations and Maintenance of upstream facilities
Experience in using programs: Microsoft Access / Excel / Word / Project / PowerPoint
