The RoleThe RoleWe are looking for experienced broadcast engineers to work 24/7 and have a proven track record of maintaining Digital TV broadcasting systems (VTRs, Flexicarts, and Video Servers) as well IT based machines. Two levels are applicable, IT for broadcast and standard broadcast. |
RequirementsRequirementsCandidates can have either Broadcast TV or IT for Broadcast experience or both, at least three years practice in broadcast company, demonstrated working knowledge, skill and ability in a series of different areas: 1.Operation skills, on a variety of complex system like digital video mixers/switchers, audio equipment, character generator, videotape recorders, linear editing, digital video effects, satellite receivers, IT based automation systems, video servers, non linear editing, archiving systems, measurement instruments. 2.Troubleshooting and repair operation skill, maintenance reports, preventive and corrective maintenance to board level, ability to test, repair and calibrate broadcast equipment to meet international broadcast standards, manufacturers support contact handling and incident tracing. Key words: •Advanced networking: at least FTP and HTTP server, configuration and handling or better Microsoft MCSA •Archiving: FP DIVA expertise or trained •Archiving: SONY S-AIT tape maintenance trained •Audio production: DIGIT DESIGN PROTOOLS expertise •Automation: HARRIS and OMNIBUS trained •Incident reporting, RMA issuing, statistics for fault •Intercom system: TRILOGY COMMANDER expertise •Linear Post-production: SONY BKE series •Microsoft SQL Database: at least Enterprise Manager expertise or better Microsoft MCDBA •Multi-split display systems: MIRANDA, ZANDAR •Networking: at least CISCO CCNA or equivalent proven expertise •Non-Linear Post-production: AVID ADRENALINE •Robotics: SONY FLEXICART maintenance trained •Robotics: SONY PETASITE expertise or trained •Signal Measurement: SDI analyzer (VM700 or WFM700), AES Analyzer •Signal Routing: medium and large SDI router, preferably PROBEL expertise or trained •Station reference and test signals generators: TEKTRONIX, TRILOGY •Tape Technology: DIGIBETA maintenance trained •Video Server: SEACHANGE and OMNEON •Video Signal branding: MIRANDA •Wiring and looming in dense rack frame installation |
