Job description / Role
As the portfolio of infrastructure/civil projects across the Middle East continues to expand, so too does our employer, a leading provider of global national security services, looking to expand their ranks. With long term prospects providing stability and career development, our employer is seeking to welcome a professional and experienced Maintenance Hardware Technician to their team to support the growth and development of their projects in the Middle East.
Reporting to the Maintenance Project Manager and working as part of the
Maintenance Team, your responsibilities in this role will include:
• Perform maintenance at basic and intermediate levels
• Provide proactive and corrective maintenance for IT equipment on a large scale, and advanced systems and sensors that include Electronic / Electro Optic equipment, radars, cameras, smart fence
• Execute technical processes including corrective / preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and assembly / disassembly of the systems components
• Communicate high level / detailed level to peers / managers
Requirements
Essential attributes include:
• Degree qualified in Electronics or other relevant field with Security Systems and Maintenance qualifications
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance
• Minimum 3 years’ hands on experience with maintenance and deployment of hardware equipment on complex and large scale systems
• Proven experience with installation and configuration of CCTV, Access Control Systems or Security and Surveillance Systems
• Knowledge of hardware – ability to read pin to pin diagram, electricity diagram, and engineering documents
• Experience in installation and configuration in hazardous areas (Oil and Gas refineries preferred)
• Deep knowledge in security systems
• Previous experience with hardware testing equipment
