Our client, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organisations globally, is looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Maintenance HW Technician to their UAE team.

Looking to expand their ranks and with long term prospects providing stability and career development, our employer is seeking to welcome a professional and experienced Maintenance HW Technician for their multi-billion dollar infrastructure project. This role will perform maintenance at a basic and intermediate level for large scale and advanced systems, scattered across a large geographical area. The maintenance activity includes outdoor physical work in extreme weather conditions.
Reporting to the Site Maintenance Team Leader, this role is responsible for the following:
Perform maintenance at basic and intermediate level - provide proactive and corrective maintenance to large scale and advanced systems and sensors that include a variety of electronic/electro optic equipment, radars, cameras and smart fences
Execute technical processes including corrective, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and assembly and disassembly of the systems components
Capability to work with multinational cultures - the role includes working in a very unique social environment with many nationalities and demands great interpersonal skills, maturity and tolerance
Being able to articulate at a high/detailed level to peers/managers
Requirements
The attributes we seek for this pivotal role include:
Degree in Electronics or comparable with a minimum of 3 years technical engineering experience. Maintenance qualifications required with security systems qualifications being highly desirable.
A minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance and a minimum of 3 years experience with maintenance and deployment of hardware equipment on complex and large scale systems
Deep knowledge of security systems and experience with control systems and hardware testing equipment.
Proven experience with installation and configuration on one or more of the following equipment: closed circuit TV (CCTV), security and surveillance systems
Knowledge of hardware: ability to read pin to pin diagrams, electricity diagrams, engineering documents
Experience of installation and configuration in hazardous areas (oil and gas refineries preferred).
Ability to work in a team and share best practices with strong problem solving abilities.
