With long term prospects providing stability and career development, our employer is seeking to welcome a professional and experienced Maintenance IT Technician to their team to support the growth and development of their projects in the Middle East. Reporting to the Maintenance Project Manager and working as part of the Maintenance Team, your responsibilities in this role will include: Perform maintenance at basic and intermediate levels Provide proactive and corrective maintenance for IT equipment on a large scale and advanced systems covering hardware, operating systems and applications Provide proactive and corrective maintenance to end users equipment Support Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware virtualisation, Application Support, Server Administration and Security as well as Backup and Disaster Recovery |
RequirementsRequirementsEssential attributes include: Degree qualified in IT / Computer Science or other relevant field with Security Systems qualifications Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance Minimum 3 years hands on experience with configuration on IT equipment / systems Experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator with MCSE / MCSA / MCDST / A+ certifications Deep knowledge Windows Server 2003/2000/XP, define Domain environment, Raids configuration, PC / Server Hardware Technician knowledge Deep knowledge of security systems Deep knowledge in networking, Cisco switch configuration, working with sniffers, protocols TCP/IP/UDP Experience with VMware technologies, Cisco Networking and VOIP. CCNA / CCNP networking skills and knowledge of supporting systems within large scale organisations Experienced with integrations, troubleshooting, and system analysis Experienced with Video systems and protocols, radar systems, access control systems and command and control applications A competitive expatriate package will be provided to attract top candidates to the role.
