The Role


The Role


Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Maintenance Manager will manage the entire maintenance department involving electrical,mechanical and electronic disciplines to ensure that the Companies' Operating Equipment Efficiency (OEE) targets are achieved.
Plans, supervises, controls and evaluates process maintenance activities in furnace, fiberizing, production lines, utilities and within the plant premises.
Plans and prepares yearly Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Budget coordinating with Manufacturing Manager and ensures that all budgeted projects are implemented, as well as achieves the budgeted targets.
Plans and implements training programs by taking suggestions from his team and coordinating with Manufacturing Manager.
Controls inventory of spare parts, equipment and materials coordinating with purchasing department.
Drive meetings within his department and also with other departments like production and purchasing departments.
Supervises and organizes workshops, equipment and installations.
Coordinates with purchasing department to improve the quality of the materials purchased.
Plans and implements renewals and modifications in buildings, equipment and machines by defining methods of work.
Develops maintenance reporting procedures.
Ensures that all safety regulations are respected.

Requirements


Requirements


Completion of a college or university program in engineering is required.
Five to ten years of supervisory maintenance experience in glass wool process required.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
