The RoleThe RoleA leading Abu Dhabi based food and beverages company are looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi working for the operations department. The purpose of this role is to manage the preventative maintenance cycle in coordination with the production department to ensure minimum downtime. Effectively handle all emergency maintenance needs and be responsible for the smooth operation of all equipment. Manage the maintenance team (recruitment, retention and development of mechanics, engineers and workers). Maintain minimum stock levels ensuring maximum availability and annual budgeting. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe ideal candidate with have at least 5 years experience in maintenance management within factory/production line. A minimum of a Degree in Mechanical Engineering is an essential with preference given to candidates who have had training in Project Management. General skills needed for this role: •Communication skills •People management skills •Project management skills •Negotiation skills •Planning skills •Knowledge of production equipment •Thorough understanding of maintenance processes and equipment.
