Employment: Full Time

Our client is a UAE Based well renowned & Leading ship builder and support contractor for all Naval, Military and Commercial Operators in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) needs the following personnel for permanent employment. Candidates for these positions must meet the following requirements:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for planning/scheduling planned maintenance activities, issuing of work orders and Job Cards as per schedules, recording and reporting of the maintenance. In addition the Maintenance Planner shall also be responsible to produce all the material requirements for executing the maintenance. He shall coordinate with the supply team of the client through defined channel to demand and deliver the required materials and tools to the maintenance teams.

Responsible for the following to meet different maintenance activities on-board:
- Planning, scheduling and Monitoring of Maintenance Activities.
- Initiation of Material required list for Maintenance activities.
- Issuing of Planned Maintenance work orders.
- Coordinate with client to deliver spares and materials.
- Coordinate with internal purchase to procure spares and materials on approval.
- Maintain run hours record of vessels and Equipments.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering with 04 years or Diploma in Engineering with 07 years marine / offshore experience in similar role.

Job-Specific knowledge and skills:
- Technical knowledge of ships
- Knowledge of how to read and comprehend technical specifications, drawings and setting to work and test and trials procedures.
- Knowledge of shipbuilding operations, ship systems, class society and regulatory body rules, military specification.
- Maintenance Planning Experience
- Material Planning Experience

Preference shall be given to candidates with hands on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment onboard Marine/Naval ships.
