Job description / Role
Our major international client requires a Maintenance Supervisor to join their Middle East operation.
As the Maintenance Supervisor you will report into the Offshore Platform Supervisor. You will have staff responsibilities for a team of up to 50. The role will involve supervising the daily activities of the maintenance department. Typical duties will include:
- Co-ordinating a multi disciplined workforce, ensuring planned targets are achieved in time and within budget whilst respecting current safety legislation.
- Supervising the delivery of routine and non-routine maintenance offshore.
- Liaising with sub-contractors and vendors.
- Liaising with engineers to develop work packs.
- Managing health, safety and welfare of technicians.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in an offshore technical role.
- Experience of managing a large team of engineers on international projects.
- Good communication skills essential.
- Full awareness of the current HSE regulations.
