Job description / Role
Position Title: Management Accountant
Reports To: CFO
Department: Finance
JOB PURPOSE:
Production of the financial statements, monthly management accounts / reports and annual budget enabling the CFO and Senior Management team to make sound commercial and planning decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Preparation and review of company financial statements (Audited & Internal / Annual & Monthly)
2. Developing Finances quarterly dash board reports
3. Providing variance analysis and narratives on actual vs. budget revenue and costs, identifying added-value reporting opportunities for trend analysis and commentary to assist forecasting and budgeting requirements
4. Improving Organizations financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends and recommending actions.
5. Work coordination as delegated on Internal and External Audits
6. Preparation of highly accurate Group Consolidation & Reporting packs
7. Compiling executive information for senior management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses and drafting recommendations.
8. Increasing department productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications and efficient coordinating of information requirements
9. Co-ordination with Chief Accountant on Annual Budget preparation and cash flow projections
10. Opex. & Capex. analysis and business plan preparation
Requirements
Qualifications:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years post qualified experience in a Financial Management role for an International group of companies.
- Real estate industry preferred.
- Big 4 trained
Knowledge/Skills
- Exemplary ability in preparing high quality financial reports, statements, presentations, projections and narratives.
- Data analytical and advanced spread sheet skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management and communication skills.
- Numerical ability and Integrity.
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.
