Management Accountant

Job description / Role

Our client, a multinational healthcare company, is looking for a professional and experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance team here in Dubai.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration the role of the Management Accountant for the business will be responsible for the timely preparation of the financial and management reports.

Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following :

Analysing the reporting requirements by each of the stakeholders of MEHD.
Ensuring that weekly, monthly and annual reports are produced accurately and on time and in line with General Accepted Financial Reporting Standards.
Extracting and matching information from the different information systems used by MEHD to obtain the necessary data for reporting.
Continuous improvement of the ERP system to allow for accurate and timely reporting.
Preparing budgets as per the requirements of management and ensuring input collected from the stakeholders and adequate supporting documentation for the budget development process is kept.
Monitoring the revenue and expenses of the facility against the budget and analysing the variances.
Raising warning signs when budgets are expected to fall behind target.
Revising budgets and producing forecasts throughout the financial year.
Assisting in the preparation of schedules and reports required by internal and external auditors.
Monitoring KPIs and producing the necessary reports supporting the various KPIs.

Requirements

Key skills and attributes:

Finance graduate.
Ideally a fully qualified accountant.
Previous management reporting experience.
Healthcare experience is preferred but not essential.
Excellent English skills.
