My client is a leading international insurer with office around the globe. They are a firm believer in people development and offer unrivaled training and development to their staff both internally and externally.
This role would suit either a recent graduate, or someone currently pursuing/completing an MBA/MS degree in a very good university in Dubai.
The role would be working with one of the Regional Heads in the Middle East office on strategy, research, and lead project work. You would prepare presentations for strategy discussions, perform research required, prepare and conduct interviews and workshops where required. Performing marketing analysis and presenting to the senior management team. Working with the CFO budgeting and planning for the division. Implementing strategic changes across the division and managing small projects.
Good insurance knowledge
Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to write communications in differing styles according to the seniority of the audience and the objective of the communication
Ability to learn the style of the Head of Segment and to write communications accordingly
Diplomatic and politically astute
Pragmatic problem solver
Able to adapt quickly and hit the ground running
A self-starter, comfortable in a loosely defined role
Have the ability to take a wide perspective, and put the Middle East cause in the wider context of MEA and GC strategy
Analytical with good understanding of financials
Ability to build and use a network of people and knowledge
Someone enthusiastic and motivated who can work under tight deadlines and who can manage stress
Degree or similar qualification
Experience in a strategic function, business consulting role or similar
Languages; English (fluent) and Arabic preferred but not strictly necessary
