Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Executive Solutions in partnership with EKFC are looking to recruit a Management Trainee - UAE Nationals.

- Responsible for preparing and maintaining the annual Emiratisation strategy for EKFC.
- Ensure that all UAE Nationals understand the EKFC Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring that management trainees and special needs workers are provided with a safe working environment.
- Responsible for ensuring that all direct and indirect reports successfully complete OHS training.
- Responsible for the pro-active and innovative sourcing of UAE nationals.
In conjunction with the Recruitment team screen and interview UAE national job candidates.
- Responsible for ensuring that all UAE national new joiners complete the company orientation program and are provided with an appropriate structured on-job orientation.
- Responsible for managing the probationary period of employment process for all new UAE nationals.
- Responsible for the performance appraisal, professional development and career planning for all direct and indirect reports and ensure that line managers have the same in place for all other UAE nationals.
- Responsible for conducting periodic engagement surveys with UAE nationals employed at EKFC, analysing the feedback and implementing improvement plans.
- Responsible for the coordination and management of employee functions and events for UAE nationals.
- Assist the Manager Learning and Development in developing and managing the annual budget for UAE National activities.
- Responsible for the identification of new and innovative sources of UAE national job candidates that fit the profile of roles at EKFC.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a strong employment brand for EKFC as a preferred employer for UAE nationals.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a Talent Management system for UAE nationals. Responsible for the Management Trainee Program ensuring rotation schedules suit the individual and the business.
- Responsible for the special needs worker program ensuring rotation schedules suit the individual and the business.
- Responsible for participating, as required, in any grievance resolution or disciplinary investigation involving a UAE nationals.

Requirements

- Graduate Degree or Diploma holder.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach the team.
- Should be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Act as a role model and provides effective behavioral examples in order to motivate team members to achieve high levels of performance.
- High level of commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change.
