This role manages the Cards Operations Unit whilst maximizing profitability by providing cost-efficient, customer focused, and well controlled service delivery to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

You will ensure proper functioning of day-to-day controls, periodic monitoring activities and timely resolution of risk issues. You will ensure that all activities related to reconciliation are fully applied and accurate, and that they comply with QNB Policies & Procedures. You will ensure that all business accounts are settled on daily basis with a close overlook on them frequently and assist Merchants Unit to settle their day to day merchants' requirements.

You will be responsible for the performance of Cards Operations such as: account maintenance, payment processing, billing & statements, hot listing, data capture/ updating, and handling customer queries. In addition you will ensure that the cost of providing services are tracked and controlled in relation to the budgets set for these activities.

The successful individual will have a minimum of 8-10 years banking experience, of which at least 5 years will be in a managerial role in a major banking institution preferably in cards operations. The ability to demonstrate extensive experience of ATM reconciliation, Visa/MasterCard settlements, knowledge of Debit cards, transaction processing/ settlements and excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic is essential.
