Job description / Role
The Bereavement and Palliative Care Manager is a key member of the interprofessional team and ensures that standards for care and compassion are adhered to at the service level. The Bereavement and Palliative Care Manager in collaboration with team members is accountable for ensuring that commissioning, recruitment, on-boarding, orientation and service activation responsibilities are carried out in accordance with Sidras plans, policies, and timelines. The Bereavement and Palliative Care Manager is responsible for identifying risks in these processes, informing leadership and actively participating in managing timely solutions.
Requirements
- Requires Master's degree in nursing or health related field.
- 7 years of experience, must include management experience.
- Must have experience working in an acute setting.
- Must have experience working in pediatrics.
