Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Description:
Implementation of the necessary infrastructure to support a contemporary bid and proposal team for the management of opportunities with clients.
Support the Bid Development initiatives for major projects in the property & facility management industry.
Lead Bid Management for facility management whilst lead the tenders.
Responsible for leading bids from initial bid feasibility and strategy development through to client presentation, and handover to the mobilization team once awarded.
For each bid, management of project-allocated resources including financial analysts, bid coordinators, writers and estimators.
Face-to-face client meetings, presentations and involvement in the mobilization of the contract post-win.
Oversight on the complete bid lifecycle from inception to implementation.
Significant technical knowledge of the property & facility management industry to support the bid writing and review process.
Identifying new business opportunities aligned to the company's growth strategy and consulting with practice groups to evaluate strategic fit, probability of success and key bid decisions using an established framework.
Proactively manage the renewal of all existing preferred supplier agreements and contracts.

Undertake first-pass evaluation of client contracts and agreements, identifying negotiation points and unacceptable provisions.

Facilitate and participate in price negotiations to secure preferred supplier agreements.
Implement a Bid request System.
Integration of the bid management function into the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System by formalizing the bid process, developing continuous improvement feedback, loops, mandating compulsory bid debriefs and designing new pitch format/layouts.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications and Knowledge: Bachelor's in Business Administration/Management, Masters preferred

Minimum Experience (number of years): 6 - 8 years of experience in Bid Management.

Job-specific Skills: Good Communication & Presentation skills in English, Bid process, proactive pitch success and negotiation skills.

Behavioral Competencies: Customer Services Orientation, Results Orientation, Team work & Collaboration, Effective Communication, Creativity & Innovation, Networking skills and Functional Expertise.
