The RoleThe RoleIdentifies and drives the strategy setting and performance targeting; initiative scoping and planning, investment case and value realisation plans as well as oversight of the design and implementation of business process improvements that are ICT enabled. Typically leads a number of specialist groups of business process reengineering specialists (skilled in business process reengineering, corporate change leadership and solution architecting) organised as project task-forces. Coordinates with lines-of-business to evaluate and benchmark current performance, vision and target future/desired performance levels and then coordinate/lead process reengineering and ICT solution architectures to support redesign efforts. Instrumental in supporting line-of-business in developing business cases, scoping & planning improvement interventions and facilitating benefit realisation. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe job holder should be well versed with all aspects of the ICT industry and is considered an in-house business process re-engineering expert and assumes the responsibility for end-to-end solution architecture balancing value-add and risk and liaising closely with the other three legs of ICT (Business Application, Governance and PMO as well as ICT Infrastructure and Operations Must have experience in ICT related solution design, delivery and management in industrial environments (i.e. stronger preference for manufacturing than for finance) Must have a track record in conducting ICT related consulting assignments; ICT architectural system studies; experience in information management practices in various fields of ICT with over-view knowledge of manufacturing organizations, At least 5 years in managing advisory and solution delivery teams of professionals from different areas of specialization (For example: Information & Technology Strategy, ICT governance, Business Process Engineering, Application management and support). Must have experience in managing projects with a good track record of completing projects in different areas of Information Technology. |
