Manager - Commissioning

Job description / Role

- To carry out the Site Acceptance.
- Tests for all the equipment as per the approved test procedures and commissioning of the substation in time.
- Preparation of all the documents like SAT formats, RED mark-up Drawings, as built Drawings and submission of the same to consultant/client.
- Clearing of all the snags and get cleared by consultant/client by arranging inspection.
- Excellent communication skills and a pro-active approach. to solving problems and getting the job done.
- Ability to read the spec and interpret the correctness of specification and guide the entire team.
- Should be a good administrator with strong financial and analytical thinking.
- Good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Having experience in Oil and Gas Sector (especially ADCO/ADGAS/GASCO Abu Dhabi) is preferable.
- Responsible for preparation and submission of Site Acceptance Test procedures to consultant/client for approval for various Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Responsible for preparation and submission of weekly/fortnightly pre commissioning test schedule to consultant/client.
- Responsible for arranging subcontractors for carrying out internal/witness tests for SAT.
- Responsible for arranging all the required testing instruments either internally or hired for various SAT
- Responsible for completion of all the internal tests and keeping ready for witness tests.
- Responsible for arranging consultant/client for SAT witness tests
- Responsible for carrying out site acceptance tests as per the approved site test procedures.
- Responsible for submitting daily/weekly/monthly SAT progress Report to HO.
- Responsible for coordinating with Design and contracts for any clarification required in the schemes/material supply etc.
- Responsible for rectifying the defects noticed during witness test and complete the witness test in an respects.
- Responsible for getting signature of the consultant/client in the SAT formats after completion of witness tests.
- Responsible for preparation of RED mark up drawings and arranging to get the signature from the consultant.
- Responsible for clearing of all the snags internally or through the subcontractors.
- Arranging consultant /client for inspection of the cleared snags and getting signature from consultant in the PAC snag list.
- Arranging built Drawings based on RED mark up Drawings either internally or through subcontractors
- Arranging for submission of as built drawings and getting signature of the client.

- Excellent skill set for dispute resolutions
- Self-motivated, energetic and tenacious
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience: 15-20 years
- Graduate/ Masters in Engineering Electrical.
