Manager Corporate Communications

Job description / Role

Effectively managing corporate communications activities and media relations on behalf of Subsidiaries. Responsible for all elements of public relations for subsidiaries including, protection and promotion of the Company / brand, executive communications and integrated planning with other departments. Incorporates corporate communications into all activities, ensuring these are aligned with the business strategy.

Description
* The Manager Corporate Communications will design & Implement overall corporate communications strategy in support of business objectives
* Prepare conduct & publish regular communications to public & media - press releases, interviews, publications etc.
* Use communications to promote and protect the Company & brand image
* Develop media communication strategy
* Evaluate media opportunities and make recommendations to maximise visibility
* The Manager Corporate Communications will establish strong media contacts and demonstrate a solid working relationship with the media
* Distribute corporate information about the latest news relating to the client
* Develop material for the SVP / CEO for media related materials as opportunities arise
* Oversee media buy & creative
* Coordinate adhoc reaction to events and incidents
* Lead public relation events including stakeholder, industry events
* Cooperate with communications agencies to execute strategy
* Support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the client

Requirements

* 5-10 years in a previous role
* Fluent in English
* Experience in Luxury Retail is beneficial
* Previous experience in the Middle East
* A relevant degree from a recognised university
* Currently located or willing to relocate to Qatar
