Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

•Ensure day to day transaction processing in a seamless and control conscious manner
•Maintain operational control of all TF transactions and ensure they are processed as per policy and guidelines within SLA.
•Ensure all transactions are processed and completed in all respects on a daily basis.
•Ensure superior customer service.
•Ensure there is no loss to the bank / customer due to operational errors.
•Escalate and liaise with Customers, Wholesale Banking, Compliance, Risk Management, IT and Treasury and International Banking for technical / operational issue escalation and pending transactions.
•Provide technical guidance to both Internal and External Customers on Trade Finance products and Operations.
•Initiate, execute and own the Training and Development plan for team members.
•Conduct customer seminars and employee training sessions as and when required.
•Coordinate with Audit and Compliance as and when required.
•Ensure compliance with all Audit, Compliance observations and findings on an ongoing basis.
•Provide coaching and feedback to team members on an ongoing basis to improve efficiencies and motivate employees

Requirements

•Omani National preferred
•A candidate should be a Graduate / Post Graduate with 10 years’ experience in Trade Finance Operations (At least 5 years in a Team / People Management role)
Or
•Diploma with 15 years’ experience in Trade Finance Operations (At least 5 years in a Team / People Management role)
•CDCS related certification Preferred
•Complete knowledge of Documentary Credits, Document examination, Bank Guarantees, Standby LC, Collection, Risk Participation, Trade Loans, SWIFT.
•Must be fully conversant with UCP600, ISBP, ISP98, URDG 758, URR 725, URC 722 and CBO guidelines with general knowledge of FX operations, International Banking, Compliance, AML / KYC and Operations Risk in relation to Trade Finance.
•Possessing excellent analytical skills
•Must be able to work independently and meet the deadline to the related work
•Computer Literacy essential ( MS. Packages)
•Possessing good decision making and problem-solving skills
•Possessing good leadership and coaching skills
•Should be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
