Job description / Role
My client a leading Non Islamic bank in Dubai is looking to hire a Manager for their Data Migration team.
Description of the role are as follow:
- Perform critical analysis of DM impacting Business Requirements, Source data and destination system data expectations and identify gaps if any
- Propose appropriate solutions for the identified gaps impacting DM , and arrive at appropriate mapping of data
- Liase with vendors for optimal solutions and approaches
- Propose data mapping with necessary documentation to be submitted for reviews, acceptance and signoffs.
- Monitor the development of scripts and codes for the desired data transformation in staging area
- Support the application team in uploading activities, and in execution of migration
- Plan and sequence the necessary data extracts needed to synchronize applications for integrated rollouts.
- Ensure proper and documented fixes to the issues raised
- Prepare and monitor the necessary detailed plan of action for granular tasks
- Participate in discussions, workshops and other sessions
Requirements
- Total IT experience of more than 10 years with at least 3 years in Data Migration in Banking.
- Proven track record of leading a team and delivering projects
- Knowledge of the following applications preferred
- Core applications: Finacle, Finnone, Exim Bills, Vision +/Network1, KTP
- Channels: Banknet, Smart Business, MeMobile, Base24
- Support applications: Safewatch, Combat/Erase, Corona
- Finance & Admin applications: Oracle GL, Accounts payable, P2P
