The RoleThe RoleInformation Technology Services (ITS) at Qatar University is accepting applications for the position of Manager of Enterprise Business Applications. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Manager will provide direct management, planning, and oversight for the University’s core business systems. These systems include Oracle E-Business, Banner- Student, Blackboard and Millennium. This position is responsible for directing University Core Application Systems and providing leadership and direction for the ERP staff. This includes overseeing the planning and implementation of application development and integration projects throughout their entire development life cycle, including requirements and systems analysis, design, construction, testing, and documentation. This position will serve as a primary customer point of contact regarding the development and design of core application systems, communicate with users on a regular basis regarding project priorities and status, and assist them in attaining their administrative information system and data needs. |
RequirementsRequirementsA bachelor’s degree is required, masters preferred, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in complex technology management. This position requires excellent communications skills, with the ability to communicate with all members of the Qatar community; management experience; familiarity with Data Center design and management; broad understanding of computer server and networking technology; knowledge of user support for technology; knowledge of configuration and support of ERP Systems; familiarity with Learning Management systems. |
