The core responsibility of the role is the management of the department of Faculty and Research for the Middle East campus, in compliance with the school's policies and governance. Efficient and successful day to day operations must be maintained and an excellent level of service will be provided to Faculty and Research staff, adhering to the goals and objectives set down by the Dean of Faculty and the Director of Faculty Administration. This role is the key interface between three campuses and ultimately manages and supports a team of twelve to sixteen people and reports to the Associate Director of Faculty Administration, Asia Campus.
Core accountabilites of the role include; Faculty contracts and payments, Faculty recruitment and orientation, responsibility for overall Faculty support on the Middle East campus, management of academic information and providing logistical support for all Faculty meetings. Additionally, as the sole representative for the Middle East Faculty, you will ensure efficient cross campus communication and liaise with counterparts in other countries, ensuring the flow of good practices and work processes.

Requirements

We are seeking an assertive yet diplomatic individual for this role. The role is challenging in so much that quick decisions and instant solutions are required on complex and demanding situations; the expectations of the Faculty, who are very culturally diversified, must be met, Effective communication and strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required along with credibility and utmost discretion. The successful applicant will be a team player with the ability to delegate and who possesses solid management skills
You will be required to have a strong knowledge of local social, fiscal and labour laws. Excellent MS Office knowledge and fluency in English is also required with Arabic language skills as an advantage. Prior work experience in the Middle East is mandatory with a minimum of three years mid-level management experience; working with international teams is an added advantage.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
